About Me

I am a follower of Jesus the Messiah. I’m a white guy, a Midwesterner, an INTJ/p on the Myers’s-Briggs (MBTI), an engineer turned bible theology major. I have an amazing wife and two sons…an nine year old and a six year old.

I served college students for 12 years with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and got my world rocked by friends and profs in the MAGL from Fuller Seminary. (Missional church stuff + meeting church planting movements friends from the  world = a lot of questions AND a new vision for simple, mission focused church in USA.)  I live in Crown Point, IN near Chicago, which is home neither in Chicago nor Indiana. My family and some friends want to go after the “missing generations” (missing from God’s family) in NW Indiana. We want to make disciples of Jesus and gather folks into a network of expanding missional communities. (Whew, that’s a mouthful!)

I love making and eating pizza (especially Chicago-style deep dish), road and mountain biking, getting into nature in any way possible, discussing and DOING God’s mission in the world. My email is my first name and last name (together with no spaces) at Gmail.
